Occupational categorization
Given the level and nature of work factors and work environment that may affect occupational health, assessing health risks and the changes to workers’ health, work classified into four categories.
Hazardous work is work where there is an increased risk of occupational diseases, occupational poisoning or other harm in connection with work.
Hazardous work is the work included in the third and fourth categories.
Inclusion of work in the third and fourth categories decided Regional Public Health on a proposal from the employer or on its own.
